Legions Imperialis: Avenger Strike Fighters

The Avenger Strike Fighter is a supreme ground attack aircraft, designed to fight alongside Solar Auxilia cohorts in planetary invasions. Named for its primary weapon, the Avenger Bolt Cannon, the Avenger excels at strafing enemy tank formations, raking the more vulnerable aspects of vehicles with mass-reactive bolt shells. The Avenger can also be pressed into service in its secondary role as an interceptor, providing ground troops with air support against enemy bomber squadrons.

The Solar Auxilia are spoiled when it comes to small, relentless air combat aircraft. Add Avenger Strike Fighters to your forces and give them tremendous firepower, protected by a tail gunner – a rarity for such a small aircraft. Their weapon mix allows them to eliminate ground targets or shoot down slow bombers. They also have a unique style and, with their downward-pointing wings, exposed engines, and broad tails, look unlike anything else in your army.

These models can also be used in games of Aeronautica Imperialis if you mount them on Aeronautica Imperialis bases, sold separately.

These miniatures are unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
