Named for the 'Great Beast' of Terran myths, the Typhon lives up to its namesake in brutal power. This heavy tank uses the same basic chassis as the Spartan Assault Tank and serves as a mobile gun platform with enough power to carry a single massive siege artillery piece – the Dreadhammer siege cannon. The Typhon was created in response to a request from Primarch Perturabo of the Iron Warriors, who demanded a war machine that could rapidly deploy fortress-breaking firepower alongside his legionaries. While its design is unsubtle, its overwhelming efficiency is beyond doubt.

From this multipart plastic kit, you can build a Typhon Heavy Siege Tank, a well-protected tank with a truly formidable weapon. The primary armament of this impressive vehicle is the Dreadhammer siege cannon, a weapon mounted centrally on the vehicle that can breach bunkers, shatter enemy war machines, and blast entire infantry squads to pieces. In addition to its main armament, the Typhon also features two side sponsons with weapons – you have the choice of heavy bolters, heavy flamers, lascannons, or volkite caliveras. Both the siege cannon and the sponsons can be assembled without glue, allowing you to change their position during battle.

This kit also includes parts to upgrade your Typhon Heavy Siege Tank with a pintle-mounted weapon – choices include an inferno rocket launcher, heavy bolter, heavy flamer, multimelta, or a combi-weapon with five configurations (bolter, flamer, melta, plasma gun, volkite) – as well as a searchlight, a hunter-killer missile, and a range of cosmetic options such as tow hooks, symbols, and the choice of a Space Marine gunner, a spotter, or a closed hatch.

This kit consists of 221 plastic components and includes a Legiones Astartes Vehicle transfer sheet with 44 optional markings and insignia for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions. The miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.
