Legiones Astartes: Praetor With Power Axe

Praetors are the mightiest warriors and commanders of the Space Marine Legions in battle, second only to the god-like Primarchs in their martial prowess and leadership. Their ranks include Chapter Masters and Lord Commanders, Captains and Khans, War Smiths and Jarls, as dictated by their Legion's traditions. Each is a supremely experienced warrior and warlord, having forged their legend in blood, wielding the finest wargear and weaponry known to humanity in battle, as they lead armies that have conquered countless worlds.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Legio Praetor, wielding a menacing two-handed power axe, with a deadly archaeotech pistol holstered at his belt. This imposing figure is clad in heavily modified Mark VI power armour, bedecked with embellishments and honours befitting his rank, and wears a formidable cloak with a sculpted trim – topped by a Steel Star, evocative of a trophy rack. The kit includes a choice of two heads – a beaked helmet with a spiked crest, or an unhelmeted head with a magnificent topknot. This model makes for a fantastic painting project, being laden with ornate details and offering opportunities to showcase different textures and materials.

This kit comprises 27 plastic components, and comes with a Citadel 40mm Round Base. It also includes a Legiones Astartes Infantry Transfer Sheet, with 339 optional markings and icons for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.
