Praetors are the mightiest warriors and leaders of the Space Marine Legions in battle, second only to the god-like Primarchs in their martial prowess and generalship. Those who choose to march to war in Cataphractii Terminator armour prize its immense resilience above all else, shrugging off even the most devastating barrages without flinching. These towering warlords stride into the thickest fighting, leading their warriors to victory on a hundred battlefields.

Chaplains, a role created towards the end of the Great Crusade, were intended to provide a cadre of fearsome and experienced warriors who would ensure doctrinal and ideological compliance throughout the scattered and increasingly individualistic Legions. These officers are zealous exemplars of the Astartes martial creeds, bearing the deadly symbol of their office – the Crozius Arcanum – while inspiring their allies on the battlefield.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Cataphractii Legio Praetor and one Chaplain Consul. They make ideal leaders for a force of Legiones Astartes, bolstering larger armies as needed. The Praetor is clad in impressive Cataphractii Terminator Armour, able to shrug off tremendous firepower to strike back with his roaring chainfist and devastating combi-melta. He can alternatively be built as a Cataphractii Legio Centurion. The Chaplain Consul kindles implacable fury in his comrades and is armed with a plasma pistol and an ornate Crozius Arcanum. These models are supplied without Legion markings, allowing Warhammer hobbyists to paint them in the colours of their choice – though the box does include a transfer sheet with 339 optional markings and icons for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions.

This set comprises 12 plastic components, and is supplied with 1x Citadel 32mm Round Base, 1x Citadel 40mm Round Base, and 1x Legiones Astartes Infantry Transfer Sheet. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.
