Legiones Astartes: MKIII Tactical Squad

Tactical Squads are the backbone of the Space Marine Legions, and the force by which the Great Crusade conquered vast swathes of the galaxy. By the might of thousands of superhuman warriors such as these, armed with deadly bolters and armoured for battle in the most inhospitable war zones, the enemies of Mankind were shattered time and again. The Legio Tactical Squad is an immensely flexible infantry unit, able to attack or defend as needed, storm heavily fortified positions and seize and hold strategic objectives, or simply ruthlessly slaughter the foe in almost any situation.

Mark III 'Iron' power armour dates back to the Great Crusade, and is known for its use in boarding actions due to its bulky but resilient construction.

This multi-part plastic kit builds 20 Space Marine Legionaries, which can be fielded in Warhammer: The Horus Heresy as a 20-model Legio Tactical Squad, or two units of 10 models. Each of these Legionaries can be armed with a bolter and various optional wargear, such as grenades, pouches, and a bayonet for close combat. You can also build two Legionaries with a Legions vexilla, two with a Nuncio-vox, and two with an Augury scanner.

Additional wargear and alternate head options are included, allowing you to build a Legio Tactical Sergeant for each of your squads – the kit offers a variety of additional weapon options for these leaders, including plasma pistols, power swords, power fists, and lightning claws.

These models do not have any Legion markings, allowing Warhammer hobbyists to paint them in whichever colours they desire. However, the box includes a transfer sheet with 293 optional markings and iconography for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions.

This multi-part plastic kit contains 368 plastic components and 20x Citadel 32mm Round Bases, as well as 1x Legiones Astartes Infantry Transfer Sheet. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
