Legiones Astartes: MkII Assault Squad

Jump-pack equipped Assault Squads are comprised of warriors outfitted for close-quarters combat and swift strikes. The use of jump packs allows Assault Squads to traverse the battlefield at high speed and smash into enemy lines with brutal force, bypassing terrain and defences to engage their foes in bloody melee.

When it was first developed, Mark II 'Crusade' power armour was cutting edge Space Marine technology – an all-enclosed, radiation-proof suit that could take more punishment than ever before. Despite its age, it remained in widespread use by the time the Horus Heresy erupted.

This multipart plastic kit builds 10 Assault Marines, powerful shock troops for your Legiones Astartes armies in Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. With their speed and chainaxes, they are ideally suited to exploiting open flanks and bypassing enemy front lines, throwing a deadly wrench into the gears of their plans.

This kit includes components to build up to two Sergeants, each of whom can be armed with a disintegrator pistol or volkite serpenta, a power maul, and a melta bomb. Every member of the squad can swap their bolt pistol for a combat shield, allowing them to absorb more damage as they leap across the battlefield. Two Legionaries can optionally carry a heavy chainaxe to hit even harder. There are 16 heads in 8 designs included, and a choice of grenades, pouches, and holsters to further personalise your miniatures.

This kit can be combined with the Melee Weapon Upgrade Set, sold separately, to give you even more tactical options.

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.

These miniatures have no Legion-specific markings, allowing you to field them in any Legiones Astartes force – whether you are loyal to the Emperor or have cast your lot in with Horus’s rebellion.

This set includes 1 Horus Heresy Transfer Sheet, featuring 618 high-quality, waterslide decals for decorating your miniatures. It contains iconography for the Sons of Horus, Imperial Fists, Iron Warriors, and Salamanders, as well as generic symbols, numbers, and honour markings.

This set comprises 244 plastic components and comes with 10x Citadel 32mm Round Bases.
