The Kratos Heavy Assault Tank is based on an ancient Terran pattern, used during the unification of Old Earth and re-engineered after the Emperor’s treaty with the Lords of Mars, to serve as the spearhead of the Great Crusade – a line-breaker and hammer of the foe. This weighty battle tank is virtually impervious to enemy fire, and its steady, relentless advance forms an unshakeable core for any Legiones Astartes assault, augmented by overwhelming firepower.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Kratos Heavy Assault Tank, a virtually impenetrable, weapon-bristling war machine. This impressive vehicle can be built with one of three mighty turret weapons – the versatile Kratos battlecannon, a tank-busting melta blastgun, or a searing volkite cardanelle. It also sports a co-axial autocannon, a pair of hull-mounted weapons – autocannons, heavy bolters, lascannons, or volkite calivers – and another pair of sponson weapons – heavy bolters, heavy flamers, lascannons, or volkite caliverines.

The kit also includes components to upgrade the Kratos Heavy Assault Tank with a pintle-mounted weapon – an inferno heavy bolter, heavy flamer, multi-melta, or combi-weapon in five configurations (bolter, flamer, melta, plasma, or volkite) – as well as a searchlight, dozer blade, and a choice of a Space Marine gunner, spotter, or a closed hatch.

This model has no Legion markings, allowing Warhammer hobbyists to paint it in the colours of their choice – however, the box includes a transfer sheet with 42 optional markings and iconography for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions.

This set comprises 233 plastic components and is supplied with a Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.

You will need a copy of the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Age of Darkness Rulebook and either Liber Astartes: Loyalist Legiones Astartes Army Book or Liber Haereticus: Traitor Legiones Astartes Army Book to make full use of this model.
