Legiones Astartes: Glaive Super-Heavy Special Weapons Tank

The Glaive is a super-heavy tank design, based on the Fellblade chassis and fitted with a powerful volkite carronade, a device of the Mechanicum whose design is said to have originated on Mars during the Age of Strife. When it fires, multiple targets are brought down by its annihilating beam before even a fraction of its energy is expended.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Glaive Super-Heavy Special Weapons Tank, an impressive war engine for your Legiones Astartes armies in Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. Thanks to its mighty volkite carronade, a weapon that can scythe down entire swathes of enemies with a single shot, it is a serious threat on the battlefield. Combined with heavy armour and supporting weapons, this tank can turn the tide in any battle.

The Glaive can be equipped with either a twin heavy flamer or a twin heavy bolter as a hull-mounted weapon, and sponson-mounted lascannon arrays, destroyer laser arrays, or heavy gravis bolter batteries, allowing you to take on any foe. The kit also includes components to add an optional hunter-killer missile, smoke launchers, and a searchlight to the tank.

This miniature has no legion-specific markings and can therefore serve in any Legiones Astartes force, whether you are loyal to the Emperor or have joined Horus' rebellion.

This kit includes a Legiones Astartes Super-Heavy Tank Transfer Sheet with 718 high-quality decals. These include symbols for the Imperial Fists, Sons of Horus, Salamanders, and Iron Warriors, as well as numerals and other symbols to adorn your tank.

This kit comprises 226 plastic components. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
