The Rhino is the most common armoured troop transport in the Imperium. Based on ancient STC technology, the basic design is robust, reliable, easy to maintain, and features a multi-fuel engine, making it perfectly suited for the far-ranging armies of the Great Crusade – and for the wars of the Horus Heresy. As such, the Rhino chassis also serves as the basis for many other war machines, and these transports are produced by the thousand – several different schemata are widely used across the galaxy, with the heavily armed Deimos pattern being the most common among the Space Marine Legions.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Legiones Astartes Rhino armed with the distinctive Deimos pattern armament. This efficient transport vehicle has the capacity to carry a 10-man squad of Legionaries across the battlefields of the 31st Millennium, and also has room for Character models that join the unit. Protected from enemy fire by thick armour plating and defensive smoke launchers, the Legiones Astartes Rhino is armed with twin-linked bolters and can be further customised with a range of weapons and equipment. This kit includes components for a pintle-mounted inferno heavy bolter, heavy flamer, multi-melta, or a combi-weapon in five configurations (bolter, flamer, melta, plasma, or volkite), as well as a searchlight, a dozer blade, and a havoc launcher. It also features a range of cosmetic options such as tow hooks and a choice of a Space Marine gunner, spotter, or closed hatch.

This model features no Legion markings, allowing Warhammer hobbyists to paint it in the colours of their choice – however, the set includes a transfer sheet with 42 optional markings and iconography for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions.

This set comprises 102 plastic components and is supplied with a Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.
