The Cerberus is a rare variant of the Spartan chassis, using its massive hull to accommodate a prototype neutron laser projector and the considerable atomantic arc reactors and radiation shielding required to power the weapon. The neutron laser is barely understood by the Adeptus Mechanicus, but it is one of the most effective anti-tank weapons available to the Space Marine Legions, capable of punching through the strongest armour and shorting out a target's systems with bursts of radiation. The terrible toll the Cerberus exacts from its crew is considered a necessary price by many commanders, as this impressive tank poses a threat even to Titan-class opponents.

From this multi-part plastic kit, you can build a Legio Cerberus, a massive tank capable of destroying the largest targets. Its armoured hull is dominated by the triple-barrelled neutron laser battery that gives the tank its name, but you'll also find many options for additional secondary weapons. The Cerberus features two sponson weapons – you have a choice of heavy bolters, heavy flamers, lascannons, or volkite caliver – which can be attached without glue, allowing you to position them as desired.

The kit also includes components to upgrade the Cerberus with a pintle-mounted weapon – an inferno missile launcher, a heavy bolter, a heavy flamer, a multi-melta, or a combi-weapon with five configurations (bolter, flamer, melta, plasma, or volkite) – plus a searchlight, a hunter-killer missile, and cosmetic options such as tow hooks, icons for Loyalists and Traitors, and a choice of a Space Marine gunner, a spotter, or a closed hatch.

This kit consists of 221 plastic components and includes a Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet with 44 optional markings and insignia for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions. This miniature is unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
