Legiones Astartes: Cataphractii Terminators: Power Mauls

Cataphractii armour is one of the earliest patterns of Tactical Dreadnought Armour issued, providing enhanced protection for the already resilient Astartes warriors who wear it, thanks to the shield generators built into its thick ceramite shoulder pads. By the outbreak of the Horus Heresy, all Legions maintained large contingents of Cataphractii Terminators.

This multi-part plastic kit builds six Cataphractii Terminators, hand-picked heavy infantry for your Legiones Astartes armies in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. Armed with volkite chargers and power mauls, they wade into enemy fire to engage the foe at close quarters – making them ideal spearheads for deliberate, focused advances.

One of the miniatures can be built as an optional Sergeant, who can wield a power sword, power axe, or power fist, and is equipped with one of three shoulder pad designs or an optional grenade harness. One of the Terminators can swap their volkite charger for a reaper autocannon, and all miniatures feature your choice of shoulder pads, matching thigh plates, and optional tilting plates, making it easy to customise your warriors.

These miniatures have no specific Legion markings, allowing you to field them in any Legiones Astartes army – be they loyalists to the Emperor or traitors to Horus.

This set also includes a Legiones Astartes Transfer Sheet containing 618 high-quality, waterslide transfers. These allow you to customise your power armoured warriors with iconography for the Iron Warriors, Sons of Horus, Salamanders, and Imperial Fists, plus a host of numerals, honorifics, company markings, and scrollwork.

This kit comprises 170 plastic components and is supplied with 6x Citadel 40mm Round Bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
