Sentinel Guard sodalities are tasked with protecting envoys in dangerous areas and forming lines of defence against the strongest assaults. They are equipped with Praesidium Shields – precursors to the later Legiones Astartes storm shields – reinforced with energy fields, capable of resisting the heaviest weapon-fire. Despite this protective role, the physical prowess of all Custodes and the unparalleled wargear with which they are equipped affords Sentinel Guard the mobility to engage in more aggressive functions in open battle, where their resilience makes them formidable line-breakers.

Unrivalled in Defence

This multipart plastic kit builds 6 Sentinel Guard, elite bodyguards for your Legio Custodes armies in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. They are armed with guardian spears, misericordia, and praesidium shields, making them well-protected without sacrificing offensive capabilities. No traitor can stand against a dedicated assault by these superlative warriors, who wade through a storm of small-arms fire before striking with their own bolt shells and blades.

Armoured in Auramite

Each Sentinel Guard is adorned with a wealth of detail, including sculpted iconography and filigree, giving them the ornate appearance expected of the Emperor's bodyguards. One miniature can be optionally built as a Sentinel Guard Vexillarius, replacing their praesidium shield with a Magisterium Vexillum. The kit also includes 13 interchangeable heads, 6 helmeted and 7 unhelmeted, plus 6 helmet plumes that are interchangeable between the helmets, as well as 6 interchangeable shields, making it easy to customise your legendary warriors.
