Leagues of Votann: Cthonian Earthshakers

Cthonian Earthshakers literally undermine enemy positions with subterranean artillery barrages. Some batteries use Tremor Shells to destabilise strongholds with deadly earthquakes. Breaching Rounds, on the other hand, fire projectiles that burrow out of the earth before their shrapnel-rich detonation, having found their targets using geomantic echolocation.

This multipart plastic kit allows you to build two Cthonian Earthshakers and their crews, siege weapons for your Leagues of Votann army in games of Warhammer 40,000. These deadly weapons fire their loads underground, like an inverted mortar. The projectiles then explode either in their tunnels or shortly after breaking through to the surface, supporting your advancing army with their devastating effect from a safe distance.

Each weapon is operated by three members of the Cthonian Mining Guilds, who load them and direct their fire. The barrels of the weapons can be built to suit the respective projectile type, as can the Ironkyn crew members who haul the projectiles. The remaining crew members can be built with interchangeable parts, offering some customisation. The sculpted baseplates offer additional cosmetic customisation for both types of gun, as do the axe and ammunition crates. Two breaching round projectiles breaking out of the ground are also part of the set.

This kit consists of 87 plastic components, 2 Citadel 80mm Round Bases, 2 Citadel 25mm Round Bases, and 1 Leagues of Votann Transfer Sheet with 555 high-quality symbols to decorate your miniatures.

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
