Konflikt '47 Soviet Bloc Ursus Infantry Squad with Mauls

With the advent of the Rifts, the effectiveness of the 'Proletarian Hemotype' serum significantly increased. Soviet science took advantage of this, as well as stolen Axis research, to create an astonishing triumph to counter the feared Axis Shreckwulfen: a new type of soldier, the Ursus infantry. The fusion of man and the fearsome Siberian Brown Bear has created an enhanced, monstrous soldier. Little better symbolises the Soviet Union's bold embrace of the Rifts than the Ursus. Deployed in small squads, they engage in brutal close-quarters combat, tearing their way through enemy lines and leaving a bloodbath. Even the most advanced, Rift-enhanced units struggle to withstand their physical and psychological challenge.

Some Ursus squads are equipped with deadly mauls, which further enhance their already considerable strength, making even the heaviest enemy armour vulnerable to their brutal assaults.
