Conflict '47 Empire of Japan Ghost Attack Squad

Using technical data provided by the Axis powers and their own research, Japanese scientists have developed devices capable of generating a field that can temporarily knock objects or people out of synchronization with their surroundings. The land-based military application of this research—the Ghost Attack Squads—has proven adept at surprising Allied forces by literally emerging from the shadows to attack from unexpected directions or through the most difficult terrain. Armed with Shiboru compression rifles, a group of Ghost soldiers can unleash a significant barrage from ambush before disappearing back into dense terrain, rendering any pursuit futile.
