Konflikt '47 British Commonwealth MK IIC Automated Director

Advanced research into automated systems has yielded results at a pace so completely unexpected that production can barely keep up with the new designs flowing out of Bletchley Park. Less than a year after the first deployment of Mk I automated infantry in Belgium, fully automated platoons are increasingly being organised independently and commanded by automated platoon leaders. These 'Automated Directors' are based on the Mk II design and have improved computational and radio systems that allow them to disseminate orders over a wider radius to other automated units. The advantages of fully automated platoons are numerous; these include, amongst others, the avoidance of British casualties and immunity to the increasingly damaging psychological effects on the battlefields. However, automated commanders lack the imagination of human commanders and are somewhat restricted to executing the tactics and orders programmed into their systems before battle by dedicated British engineers.
