Conflict '47 Axis Locust Medium Panzermech

The Axis walkers dominated the battlefields in a highly satisfactory manner until the Allies were able to deploy their own walkers. However, when they did, the harsh treatment these highly mobile bipedal walkers received in close combat prompted a review of the Axis walker design philosophy. The most promising prototype—the Grasshopper, clearly inspired by captured US Mudskippers—was selected for further testing. The Pz.Kpfg. VII features a unique variant of the Axis gravity technology, allowing it to leap like its namesake. This added mobility, combined with a bipedal chassis, has made it a powerful support vehicle for Falke and night fighter squadrons.

With multiple armament options, the Locust can be tailored to a variety of roles on the battlefield. For example, its light missile system makes it a potent hunter of enemy infantry, or it could be armed with a medium anti-tank gun; this, combined with the maneuverability afforded by its jumping ability, should give any enemy tank pause. Its MMGs can also be upgraded with light autocannons, which are effective weapons even against the latest Rift-Tech power suits and genetic experiments.
