Katyusha

Rain down fire from the skies with the mighty Katyusha!

A simple and very Soviet concept, the name “Katyusha” refers to a long line of truck-mounted multiple rocket launchers which can lay down a massive barrage on a target, then quickly reposition and strike again to avoid counter-fire. A wide variety of rocket sizes and trucks were used, with the BM-13 launcher mounted on Lend-Lease Studebaker trucks being among the most common.

On the Bolt Action tabletop, the Katyusha boasts a powerful multiple rocket launcher, a weapon that requires both skill and luck to wield, but which has absolutely devastating damage potential. The Katyusha is a great piece of inexpensive self-propelled artillery, and no Soviet tank platoon is complete without at least one!
