Infantry weapon teams are an important component of any Bolt Action army, giving your force great tactical flexibility. Sniper teams, anti-tank teams and light mortar teams are among the most prevalent weapon types, presenting the enemy with numerous challenges to overcome.

The Solothurn anti-tank rifle was a cross between a true anti-tank rifle and a light anti-tank gun. Fitted with a light wheeled carriage and a magazine feed, the Solothurn could achieve a rate of fire of up to 20 rounds a minute.

The Italian Army possessed no dedicated sniper rifle, and the relatively lightweight Carcano Model 1891 with its small calibre round was not ideally suited for the task. However, in the hands of a skilled marksman the weapon was lethal enough.

The Brixia 45mm light mortar, in the hands of well-trained troops, was a powerful and successful weapon. Its rate of fire was higher than similar weapons of other nations and its accuracy also unsurpassed.
