With their typical Italian élan, Bersaglieri were instantly recognisable on the battlefield by the distinctive black capercaillie feathers worn on their helmets. No popinjays though, these elite sharpshooters were a tough nut to crack on the battlefield.

This support group fields stylish officers, a medic tending to his wounded compatriot, and a forward observer who acts as a radio operator to the commander. Providing firepower are the Italian armed forces medium machine gun, the Breda Modello 37, and the sturdy 81mm medium mortar Modello 35 allowing for indirect fire support.
