Start your island-hopping campaign and get ready to fight World War II on your tabletop!

The battles of World War II devastated the entire world. While the starter set "Band of Brothers" focuses primarily on the European theater of war after D-Day, "Island Assault!" shifts the focus to the Pacific and pits the United States Marine Corps against the Japanese defenders of the islands in some of the most brutal and fiercely contested battles of the war.

"Island Assault!" is one of the best ways to get into Bolt Action, whether you're new to wargames or a seasoned veteran of many tabletop campaigns. This box contains two opposing forces molded from highly detailed plastic. Twelve United States Marine Corps (USMC) infantrymen, supported by an M3A1 half-track, face off against twelve Japanese infantrymen and the threat of a Chi-Ha tank. Also included are a double-sided game mat and MDF terrain pieces that thematically match the setting and create a realistic backdrop.

Inside the packaging, you'll find a QR code. Simply scan it to be taken to the Bolt Action website, where you can download a free Bolt Action Field Guide. This incredibly useful document guides you through every stage of the hobby with simple, easy-to-understand instructions. Learn how to assemble your new models, and then jump right into the action! A series of fun introductory missions will familiarize you with the key mechanics of Bolt Action. In no time, you'll be leading your forces into battle!

Once you have completed the introductory missions, you can delve into the set's full A5 Bolt Action rulebook, and from there the possibilities are endless!
