The Eidolons of Mathlann are the revered echo of a bygone era, summoned in times of greatest need. They are not, however, a divine avatar, but collective manifestations of the souls of the Idoneth Deepkin's ancestors – spirits of vengeance that have taken the form of a lost aelven god. Eidolons form from the combined power of all the souls that can be awakened from an enclave's Chorilleum – a living coral reef that houses the souls of deceased Idoneth.
