No troop embodies the Idoneth Deepkin way of life more than the Akhelian Guard. Riding Fangmora Eels, they fight in a loose formation ideal for swift attacks and sudden withdrawals, embodying the ‘hit-and-run’ style of war common amongst the deep-dwelling elves. The Morrsarr Guard are armed with voltspears and galv-shields. They channel the powerful electrical energies of their Fangmora mounts into the tips of their spears, unleashing the charge as a deadly, short-ranged bolt of lightning. Some legends speak of Morrsarr Guard formations so vast that the brightness of their combined biovoltaic blasts blinded and staggered entire enemy armies.

This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble 3 Morsarr Guard. Each mounts a Fangmora Eel, a sinuous, serpentine beast of burden, controlled by the armoured blinkers and reins on its head, attacking with its fangs and lashing tails. The Akhelians who ride them wear heavy armoured breastplates, their arms bare, their legs covered by chainmail and cloth for mobility. They wield voltspears and galv-shields, and wear magnificent crests on their helmets – for the leader, a Lochian Prince, a special helmet featuring a sail is included. Options are included for a musician, who carries a conch shell and features an open face mask, and a standard bearer, whose Fangmora Eel is equipped with a huge pennant. There’s plenty of extra scenery to decorate the eels and bases with – nets, rope, bottles and lamps are included.

This kit comes as 80 components, and is supplied with 3 Citadel 60x35mm Oval bases. This kit can optionally be used to assemble 3 Akhelian Ishlaen Guard.
