Peasant Levies are recruited from villages and hamlets, small settlements that lie outside the towering walls of Cathay’s great cities. These provincial troops are not as well equipped as the professional armies of the Empire, preferring simple weaponry such as spears and bows, yet they are far more numerous and no less organised in battle.

Numerous and disciplined, their value lies in their numbers rather than their skill. Peasant soldiers can be armed with either war bows or long spears, making this kit a flexible option that deserves a place in your armies.

Customise Your Common Folk

The contents of this box can be built as one large unit of 20 warriors or two smaller units of 10 – each with an optional musician, standard bearer, and leader, who can be equipped with either a war bow or shield and features two different head variants. There is a range of interchangeable parts, making it easy to customise your warriors of wind and fields.
