THE STORY

Hoping to tame the Great Rift that splits the galaxy, Archmagos Belisarius Cawl invites representatives from various corners of the Imperium to the artificial world of Pontus Avernes. Convinced he can persuade them of his genius, he seeks their support to decipher the mystery of the Pylon Network – great structures of an ancient species that he believes can stem the pull of the Warp.
Meanwhile, Pater Mutatis Fabius Bile pursues his own goals, leading to an epic confrontation between the galaxy's greatest scientists – from which only one can emerge victorious.
