Vallejo Game Color Inks are very thin paints with high flow properties. Unlike washes, which are primarily intended to flow into recesses, inks will already tint your miniatures. The paint collects in the deep areas and applies only a transparent layer of color over raised areas. This way you get immediate initial light effects.
