French Resistance Light Artillery

The most useful type of light artillery was often mountain guns, as these were easier to move around and could be broken down and carried by mules if necessary. All manner of artillery was pressed into service. The old French 75mm field gun of WW1 was one of the most commonly used artillery pieces by many nations at the start of the war, and no doubt a number of these fell into the hands of partisan forces.
