Bolt Action: Finnish Rifle Squad (9 man)

The massive Soviet military machine that invaded Finland in the Winter War of 1939-1940 was crippled by the lightly armed but intensely motivated and skilled Finnish troops. The Soviets were defeated despite their enormous numerical superiority. When the Soviet Union – by now allied with the Allies – attacked again in 1941, the Finns had few options left but to ally with Germany in a conflict known as the Continuation War. The Finns were masterful marksmen and skilled in small unit tactics, striking hard and then disappearing into the dense forests. Their weapons were light but used with great skill, and many used captured Russian equipment.

The miniatures are mostly dressed in the standard issue M36 uniform and armed with various Finnish weapons, making them best suited for use in the Continuation War (1941-1944) against the might of the Soviet Union.

The kit includes a 9-man squad:
- NCO and a soldier with SMG
- 1 soldier with Lahti-Saloranta M/26 light machine gun
- 6 soldiers (one with Molotov cocktail)
