Thanks to their integration into the Luftwaffe supply system, Fallschirmjäger were well-equipped with supporting weapons, especially later in the war when they fought as conventional light infantry, such as in the wintry conditions during the Battle of the Bulge.

This box contains everything you need to add a Fallschirmjäger Heavy Weapons Platoon in their iconic winter uniforms to your German Bolt Action collection. A pair of the legendary MG 42s provide deadly direct fire support in their medium machine gun configuration, while the medium 81mm mortar rains high-explosive ordnance in lethal arcs. They are led by their Platoon Commander, who plays an important role both on the battlefield and in the army list!
