They played a vital role in the Greek campaign - most notably Operation Mercury, the invasion of Crete. This victory would be the last time paratroopers would fall en-masse from the sky - Hitler outlawing such actions after the horrendous casualties they suffered on the island.

This box contains a squad of Fallschirmjager in their tropical uniform. Ideal for representing their actions in Greece, Crete, the Western Desert, or in the Italian campaign. They could also be used as Luftwaffe or Waffen-SS paratroopers - the latter forming part of the daring rescue of Italian dictator Mussolini from his mountain prison…..

The box contains a 10-man Fallschirmjager team made of metal:
- 1 NCO with MP40 SMG
- 2-man MG34 LMG Team
- 2 Fallschirmjager with MP40 SMGs
- 5 Fallschirmjager with rifles

Product comes un-assembled and unpainted.
