Elendil & Isildur (LOTR - Good)

Perhaps the greatest Man in the history of Middle-earth, it was Elendil who led the warriors of Númenor to Eriador after the Downfall of Westernesse. A wise and noble king, no man could stand against Elendil in battle. Together with his sons, Elendil led his followers to the War of the Last Alliance against Sauron, and after a fearsome battle against the Dark Lord, he was slain on the slopes of Mount Doom. Yet there can be no doubt that this act saved Middle-earth from the clutches of the Lord of the Rings.

History would remember Isildur as the victor of the Battle of the Last Alliance, for he seized the shards of Narsil and cut the Ring from Sauron’s hand. Yet the Dark Lord’s spirit was still mighty, and Isildur was swiftly corrupted by the power of the Ring, and so he refused to destroy it. The Ring betrayed Isildur and brought him death, and the will of Sauron was allowed to endure.

Who better to lead your army of Númenor than Elendil, High King of Gondor, and his son Isildur? Both are mighty warriors, fit to stand at the forefront of any charge. While Elendil excels in duels, Isildur has an infantry and a mounted version, allowing you to better match him to your army’s fighting style.

This set contains three metal models in four components, and is supplied with one Citadel 40mm Round Base and two Citadel 25mm Slotta Round Bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints.
