Don Pavo is a mercenary captain, meaning he can lead a crew consisting solely of mercenaries. If he does so, he may be accompanied by Imperial Armada Asaltores and Marines. He is a master fencer without equal, equally skilled in parry and riposte.

As a mercenary, he fights for all crews, with the exception of the Goblin Pirates and Amazons.
