Lead your samurai and ashigaru into battle with these Daimyo commanders!

The Daimyo were powerful feudal lords who controlled great swathes of medieval Japan. Though nominally subservient to the Shogun and the Emperor, many Daimyo were in reality warlords and landowners who sought to better their own fortunes by any means necessary. These men frequently clashed, leading vast armies of samurai and ashigaru against each other and devastating the land in great battles and campaigns. Some of them achieved greatness, whilst others fell into obscurity. If there was a battle during the Sengoku Period, at least one Daimyo was almost certainly at the heart of it – often quite literally, as they led their troops into the field!

This set contains three legendary Daimyos to lead your Japanese forces. Each is cast in highly detailed Warlord Resin and modelled after one of Japan’s three ‘Great Unifiers’, arguably the most successful Daimyos of their era. They can just as easily be used to represent any Japanese commander in your games of Pike & Shotte, however. Toyotami Hideyoshi is depicted mounted, whilst Oda Nobunaga and Tokugawa Ieyasu are on foot – all are splendidly armoured and ready to lead their troops to battle.
