Warbands of Chaos Space Marines consist of a wide variety of different units, depending on the leader's mood, what they have available, and what the mission requires. You'll find everything from daemon-possessed machines and corrupted, mutated thugs to legionaries and cultists. Each of them has their own role and fights with fanatical fury.

This box is ideal for starting a Chaos Space Marines collection – or expanding an existing army – and using them in Warhammer 40,000. Plus, you save money compared to buying the kits individually. The force is led by a Maulerfiend on a bizarre Hellbrute, ready to plunge into the thickest melee. He brings his abhorrent Forgefiend and some Obliterators to drive the devastation. A unit of versatile Legionaries in power armour forms a solid core to capture and hold vital mission objectives, while Chaos Cultists serve as a buffer against retaliation and a useful distraction. Together, they are a balanced, hard-hitting force that can dominate the battlefield and easily take and hold mission objectives.

From this set, you can build 34 multipart plastic Chaos Space Marines miniatures:
- 1 Maulerfiend on Hellbrute
- 2 Obliterators
- 1 Forgefiend
- 10 Legionaries
- 20 Chaos Cultists

The miniatures in this set can be customised to a certain extent. The Maulerfiend's Hellbrute can be equipped with a twin hellflamer or a twin heavy bolter, and you have the choice of a magmacutter or a techno-virus injector.

The Legionaries kit includes a variety of ranged and melee weapons, as well as parts to build an Aspiring Champion who can be built with a plasma pistol, bolter or bolt pistol and a power fist, power axe or power maul. He also has a choice of 2 different tops for his backpack.

Up to 4 Chaos Cultists can alternatively be built as Cultist Champions – with bare-headed, horned heads and tentacled arms wielding chainswords, or with crude masks and bolt pistols.
