Dark Communes are the concentrated evil at the head of every Chaos cult, led by cult demagogues who preach captivating mantras laced with the promise of power. These infernal priests command a retinue of devoted followers – the fanatical Blessed Blades, who protect them from intruders, the Iconarchs, who carry abhorrent symbols filled with sinister influence, and the Psykers, unsanctioned psychics whose powers exact a terrible toll.

From this multi-part plastic kit, you can build a complete Dark Commune, consisting of five models – a Cult Demagogue, an Iconarch, a Psyker, and two Blessed Blades. The members of this sinister cabal are clad in dark robes and wear talismans and demonic masks similar to those of their Chaos cult followers – but they all have a unique appearance fitting their role. The Cult Demagogue wears a large, horned mask and shoulder pads, as well as a staff adorned with parchment strips, while the Iconarch, whose face is hidden under a hood, holds aloft the demonic, flame-wreathed icon. Both exhibit mutations in the form of tentacles, yet the Psyker is the most twisted figure of all – a bloated, cybernetically-framed head on the body of a hooded cultist. The faceless Blessed Blades carry an ornate ritual sword and are ready to defend the Commune.

This set consists of 31 plastic components and comes with 3x Citadel Round Bases (32mm) and 2x Citadel Round Bases (28mm). These miniatures are unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Paints. (CSM)
