Caesar's Gallic Wars

Gaius Julius Caesar used the migration of the Helvetii as a casus belli (cause for war), thus triggering almost a decade of campaigns in Transalpine Gaul and beyond. Fortunately, Caesar recorded all his exploits in his book Commentarii de Bello Gallico (Commentaries on the Gallic Wars), making himself the hero. This supplement follows the annual progression of Caesar's campaign, presenting Hail Caesar scenarios for each of the main encounters and battles.
