Bolt Action: British & Inter-Allied Commandos

The Commandos earned an extraordinary reputation for their courage and bravery in World War II. They were formed in 1940 at the behest of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill with the express purpose of taking the fight to the seemingly unstoppable German forces who had thrown the British Expeditionary Force out of France with such ease. This volunteer force recruited from all branches of the armed forces. There were Army Commandos, Royal Marine Commandos, and the Inter-Allied Commando Regiment which included nationalities such as the Belgians, Poles, Dutch, and others.

Commandos fought in campaigns in Europe, Burma, and Africa and were decorated for many famous actions, including arguably the greatest raid of all - St. Nazaire.

Commandos were deployed in many different guises – from units of less than a full squad to full assault divisions, depending on the task at hand. Superbly trained, aggressive in action, well-equipped, and deadly in close quarter fighting, the Commandos were rightly feared by their German, Italian, and Japanese opponents.

The box contains thirty plastic miniatures, bases, and decals.
