The 81mm mortar was one of the most important British weapons of World War II, providing close-range indirect fire support to the infantry. Capable of obliterating enemy infantry in short order, and light enough to be quickly deployed wherever needed, they fought on every front throughout the war. These crewmen are kitted out for cold weather, ensuring your troops are never without fire support.

Medium Mortar Teams are one of the core elements of the heavy weapons platoons in Bolt Action. They are excellent at bombarding enemy infantry and weapon teams with heavy indirect fire, and can force enemy units to rethink their dispositions or risk their destruction.
