The 25 Pdr formed the backbone of British light artillery throughout the Second World War, providing excellent indirect fire support on all fronts. Robust, reliable, and popular with their crews, the 25 Pdr could be found wherever British troops were stationed, who certainly appreciated its explosive contribution! In an emergency, the 25 Pdr could also fire an anti-tank shell over open sights, making it an improvised countermeasure against enemy tanks. With its crew dressed in thick winter clothing, this gun is ready for action even in the coldest climes.

Light howitzers like the 25 Pdr are the backbone of many artillery platoons in Bolt Action. They can fire shells over the heads of their own troops or engage the enemy directly. The 25 Pdr offers an additional capability – it can be upgraded to a light anti-tank gun, giving it enormous tactical flexibility. No British collection is complete without at least one 25 Pdr!
