Black Templars: Combat Patrol

On the eve of battle, the Black Templars gather, their champions leading them in prayer and reflection. United in their hatred of the foe, they swear a mighty oath which they intend to uphold in the coming battle. Having been plagued by visions of greatness, it falls to Vedren, the Emperor's Champion, to ensure his brothers do not break this oath.

If you zealously wish to spread faith in the God-Emperor, this box is the perfect way to start a new Black Templars collection – or expand an existing army – and save money compared to buying the kits separately. A mighty Emperor's Champion, capable of striking down any foe with his Black Sword, leads the force. Following him into the heart of battle is a squad of Bladeguard Veterans, while a seasoned Sword Brethren squad provides powerful close combat support. The army is rounded out by a Crusader Squad – an ideal unit for capturing mission objectives. These 19 plastic miniatures represent a complete Combat Patrol Vedrenn's Oathsworn, which you can use in exciting, tactical games of Warhammer 40,000. With this box, you can build 19 multi-part plastic Black Templars miniatures:
- 1x Emperor's Champion
- 3x Bladeguard Veterans
- 5x Sword Brethren
- 10x Crusaders

The miniatures in this box are easy to customise. The Bladeguard Veterans can each be equipped with a heavy bolt pistol and sword, heavy bolt pistol and shield, or sword and shield. The Veteran Sergeant can choose between a heavy bolt pistol, plasma pistol, or neovolkit pistol. The heads, arms, and shield plates are interchangeable within the squad.

The elite Sword Brethren are equipped with a bolt pistol and chainsword or a master-crafted power weapon. One member of the squad can be equipped with a power hammer, one with a plasma pistol, two with pyre pistols, and one with a pair of power claws. You can also build an optional Castellan, who carries a bolt pistol or combi-weapon and a chainsword or a master-crafted power weapon. The backpacks, backpack adornments, shoulder pads, shield plates, and heads are interchangeable between the miniatures.

The Crusader Squad includes four Neophytes, armed with Neophyte shotguns or bolt pistols and chainswords. The six Paladins can be armed with a bolt rifle or a bolt pistol and a chainsword. Two can carry a pyreblaster and two a bolt pistol and power fist. One of the Paladins can be built as an optional Sword Brother, carrying a master-crafted power weapon and a bolt pistol or a pyre pistol. The heads and shoulder pads are interchangeable among the Paladins, and they also have optional purity seals, shield plates, and relics.

This kit consists of 468 plastic parts, 10x Citadel Round Bases (40mm), 4x Citadel Round Bases (28mm), 6x Citadel Round Bases (32mm), and 2x Black Templars transfer sheets, each with 240 high-quality waterslide transfers to decorate your miniatures.

These miniatures need to be assembled and are unpainted – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
