Black Riders (LOTR - Evil)

The Ringwraiths, the Nazgûl, the Nine, the Black Riders – these are all names for Sauron’s terrifying undead servants. Once they were the kings of men, who received Rings of Power as gifts from Sauron. However, they were corrupted by the Dark Lord's power and fell into oblivion, their bodies withered and their spirits distorted by malice and cruelty. Now they serve Sauron unwaveringly, for they are completely subservient to his will.

The Black Riders comprise nine of Sauron's most powerful servants. Whether leading warrior hordes of the Dark Lord's lackeys or riding together as they did in search of the Ringbearer, each Ringwraith is a formidable opponent, none more so than their leader, the Witch-king of Angmar.

This set contains three metal miniatures. Each comes in three parts and with a Citadel 40mm round base. Their rules can be found in Armies of The Lord of the Rings™, and they can even be fielded as the Legendary Legion of the Black Riders using the rules from The Quest of the Ringbearer expansion.
