Belgian Army Weapons Teams

Infantry weapon teams are a vital part of any Bolt Action army, providing your force with great tactical flexibility. Sniper teams, light mortar teams and anti-tank rifle teams are amongst the most common weapon types and present the opponent with numerous challenges.

The Belgian army was armed with the Lance DBT 50mm light mortar. Similar in design to the Japanese 'knee' mortar and of the same calibre, this weapon served the Belgian platoons to provide close-range infantry support and could fire 20 rounds per minute.

The Belgian sniper carried and operated the Fusil Mle 1935 rifle. Firing a 7.56mm round and fitted with a telescopic sight, this rifle was deadly in the hands of a sniper.

The British Boys anti-tank rifle was supplied to the French and Belgian armies as Le Fusil Antichar Boys Mark I. The Boys model was an effective anti-tank rifle against early German tanks.
