THE STORY
The war for the warp-cursed planet of Croatoa rages on. Lieutenant Hadeya Etsul and the crew of the Leman Russ Siege of Eisenbock, known as the 'Giant Slayers' for their heroic deeds during Operation Jotunn, are thrown straight back into battle.

Etsul is given command of a convoy of tanks and infantry, and moreover, the task of escorting a legendary Lord Commissar through contested territory to stabilize the faltering Ruega Front. But thanks to a new crew member disrupting the delicate harmony in their tank, and a malicious nemesis lurking invisibly in the mountain passes ahead, the mission proves to be much more dangerous than initially assumed.

As Etsul's problems multiply, she must risk everything in the name of duty – even the hard-won trust of her crew.
