Commissars are ruthless officers who serve throughout the Astra Militarum, charged with upholding the morale, discipline, and loyalty of their regiments. With the authority to execute any soldier on the spot who fails in their duty, they are feared, menacing figures. A Commissar's devotion to the Imperium is beyond question, and they fight with fanatical bravery – inspiring the same zeal in those under their watchful eye.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Commissar, a disciplinarian officer of the Officio Prefectus. He wears a grim greatcoat and the distinctive peaked cap of his rank. Armed with a bolt pistol to execute the Emperor’s judgement – on friend or foe – this miniature can be built with either a brutal chainsword or a power sword with an energised cutting edge, both powered by a wrist-mounted power cell. Also included is a sculpted rubble base to elevate this grim overseer above the ordinary troopers.

This kit comprises 12 plastic components and comes with a Citadel 28.5mm Round Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
