Quickshade Strong Tone

Detail varnish for tin figures with a new, improved formula.

Dries to a more matte finish than its predecessor, thus better preserving the base colours. Simply apply the normal base coat, then dip the entire figure into the can and shake off the excess. After 24 hours, the varnish will have dried and settled into the recesses. The result is a realistic patina and shading that would otherwise only be achieved through elaborate painting.

This is the medium shade in the Fanatics Army Painter System. Quick Shade - Strong Tone - leaves a darker shade in just one step. It suits almost any type and colour of miniatures, as long as you want a deep and dark shading. The colour of the shading is a darker brown.
