Anti-Tank Obstacles Dragon's Teeth

The development of fast and reliable tanks led to many ideas on how to slow them down, disable them, or destroy them. Large concrete blocks, reinforced with a steel core, often referred to as Dragon's Teeth, were the most common anti-tank obstacles in World War II.

With the help of barbed wire or rolls of barbed wire between the Dragon's Teeth, infantry was also quickly stopped. This usually led to the deployment of engineers on both sides, resulting in a race to create the largest
gap in the wall or to patch these gaps the fastest.
