If you're playing Hail Caesar Epic Battles you're going to need allies - neither Rome nor Carthage can win the war alone - and this plastic box set brings you plenty of allies, perfect to bolster your ranks whichever side you command!

Both Rome and Carthage employed a wide variety of different allied troops in their armies, be they conquered peoples, mercenaries or marauding barbarian tribes. Carthage's armies were mostly made up of mercenaries as the North African city did not have access to the seemingly unending manpower available to Rome.

The Romans also made use of the surrounding Italic tribes, though the loyalty of these peoples could be wavering at best, with many defecting to Hannibal's side during his invasion of Italy. The miniatures in this set give players a great selection of different troops with which to bolster their armies, from the fast Numidian light cavalry to the fierce Gallic Celts and Celtiberians, and the famous Spanish Scutarii.
