Green Stuff World's Glasspack Footprints are transparent 1mm bases for terrain, designed to clearly mark the footprint of buildings, ruins, walls, barricades, generators, and other important terrain zones in games compatible with Warhammer 40,000® 11th Edition. Now that the new 2026 edition has moved away from classic round mission markers and focuses more strongly on terrain areas, a clearly delineated battlefield zone is more important than ever - for objective control, clear mission procedures, and fewer line of sight discussions.

They are made of completely transparent, flexible, and impact-resistant plastic. This allows you to define the exact playable area of each piece of terrain without covering the design of your game mat. Unlike alternatives made of MDF, neoprene, or other opaque materials, the look of the playing field is preserved, and at the same time, you avoid raised edges that could interfere with placing or moving miniatures. Due to their flat profile, they are particularly well suited for competitive play, casual game rounds, clubs, and tournaments, where uniform setups, quick assembly, and easy transport are simply invaluable.

Each Glasspack 40k has white printed edges so that it is always clear during the game where a terrain zone begins and ends. This helps enormously when checking whether a unit is inside a ruin, benefits from cover, contests a zone, or interacts with mission-relevant terrain elements. In the 11th Edition, this is particularly useful because terrain and mission structure are more closely intertwined, armies can have different primary objectives, and the recommended table layouts are based on very specific area and zone sizes.

These transparent footprints work particularly well on dark or gray game mats, especially with urban or lava setups, because the white outline stands out well without destroying the overall look of the table. They are less recommended for very bright boards with a snow theme. Lightweight, flexible, and easy to transport in an army case or game box, they are the perfect solution for all players who want to set up their terrain more cleanly, comfortably, and professionally - while staying close to the standard sizes for terrain and deployment of the new edition.
