Games Workshop is revising its paint range -

We'll give you an overview of the innovations!

First, we can reassure everyone who was afraid they would have to get used to new names, item designations or similar! Primarily, it is a restructuring or expansion of the existing range.

What most people are probably looking forward to and what is awaited with great excitement are the brand new Contrast-Colours!

Contrast-Colours

Games Workshop has been beating the advertising drum so intensely in recent weeks that everyone has probably realized that a completely new range is on its way. Over 34 new colors will help you get your armies ready to play even faster. The paints are a base coat and shade in one, thus saving a number of intermediate steps - in theory, this means that you only need to apply one coat of paint over the primer and you will immediately have shading and initial highlights. The paints are, as usual, acrylic-based and this time come in 18ml pots.

Additionally, two new primer sprays, Wraithbone & Grey Seer, are being released, which are directly formulated for use with Contrast paints.

New-Sprays

Furthermore, a range of new Base and Layer paints will be released, and Stormshield, a new varnish, will be introduced to give your miniatures a particularly matte finish. This offers your figures perfect protection.

 Further changes at a glance:

  • the previous Edge paints will soon be integrated into the Layer range
  • the most useful tool of all - Lahmian Medium - finally gets a large 24ml paint pot
  • the Texture Paints are integrated into the Technical paints
  • the Airbrush paints get a complete overhaul! They will be supplemented by new colors and will soon be available in large 24ml paint pots

All new paints can now be pre-ordered from us, and all changes have been incorporated into our online shop since today. We hope this information will help you in the future and wish you a great hobby weekend!
