Apocalypse was and still is the best way to fight huge battles in the Warhammer universe. Apocalypse is epic, gigantic, and incredibly exciting! With this new edition of the popular game system, you can finally play weekend-long games with all the miniatures in your collection again.
A completely new rulebook with various accessories will be released, as well as a whole lot of extras to support you in your games.
The new rulebook also includes markers, cards, and dice.
In addition to the Commando Assets, an XL miniature case, and special dice sets, datasheets for nine different factions will also be released. However, one of the coolest aids is definitely the Movement Trays! Available in sizes for 25mm, 32mm, and 40mm, they are used to move large quantities of infantry troops quickly and efficiently across the battlefield. Moving hundreds of individual miniatures is now a thing of the past. It is likely that the Movement Trays will therefore also be used in many other game systems!
For those whose knees are starting to tremble because they don't have enough miniatures for Apocalypse battles yet (and yes, there are still such players!), Games Workshop has the perfect solution ready! With the Detachment Boxes, you can quickly and affordably raise an army for Apocalypse games or even normal 40k games with high point values. Each Detachment Box includes some of the best and most impressive units that the factions of the Warhammer universe have to offer.
There will be ten Battleforces... Oh, wait! Detachment Boxes for the different factions.
In addition, your armies, or rather those of the Imperium, will receive support in the form of impressive war machines. With the Baneblade, you now once again have access to one of the most iconic tanks of the Astra Militarum, if not the entire Warhammer universe.
The impressive Baneblade was for a long time only available exclusively via mail order and is now back in retail.
For the Space Marines, an updated version of the Repulsor will soon enter battle, and the Adeptus Mechanicus can look forward to the new model of the Skorpius Disintegrator, a new transport vehicle.
So there's plenty to paint and build again, and new epic battles are waiting to be fought!
